The Gap between Leadership training and 'Leadership' per se

It is interesting to note that while "Leadership" can be studied, it does not necessarily create "Leaders" (Unlike studying "Engineering" leads to creation of "Engineers" !). Often in Corporate training programs, the "Leadership" content is a 'hogwash' to justify the HR Department existence ! Corporates need to understand that Leaders cannot be created / trained overnight, or even in a couple of months. At most they can be identified by creating circumstances which require natural 'leaders' to emerge. YES ...they could then be polished to show the real 'Diamond' in them.
